About Kai

I help people build strength and increase their mobility. Becoming stronger is one of the best investments you will ever make, and you don’t have to beat yourself up in order to get stronger. My clients learn how to get stronger with the hope to live longer, and continue doing the things they enjoy for as long as possible.

My style of training incorporates many disciplines, such as kettlebells, Animal Flow, calisthenics, MovNat, and corrective exercises.

My journey as a personal trainer began in 2016 when I started training clients at the YWCA of Asheville. In 2021 I also became licensed as a physical therapist assistant in the state of North Carolina. My training in physical therapy helped me develop a thorough understanding of the complexity of the human body that allows me to challenge you while mitigating your risk of injury.

In 2023, I became licensed as a massage therapist. This allowed me to offer soft-tissue work for my clients in order to enhance overall mobility and muscle function, alleviate pain, and speed up recovery.

As of 2025, my latest endeavor has been a deep dive into nutrition, which has always been a passion of mine. I am currently enrolled in Mac Nutrition Uni, working toward becoming a certified nutritionist. This was born out of a desire to offer evidence-based nutrition advice in a world full of noise and confusion, and to simplify the process of losing body fat for current and future clients.
